Healing minds, supporting homeless lives
We are a youth-led project that is part of Kizuna's Leadership in Action program advocating for mental health support for LA's unhoused population. By conducting interviews, carrying out research , and finding data, our goal is to raise awareness and inform the public about the complicated, two-way relationship between homelessness and mental health.
With the help of this website, we lead to resources providing more care and knowledge building the understanding of the harsh reality on what is happening in the unhoused population.

Understanding the Intersection
The intersection of homelessness and mental health is a complex crisis. For many, these challenges are the starting point for mental health issues and can lead to homelessness, while the trauma of living on the streets exacerbates existing conditions. We believe that addressing one without the other is an incomplete solution.
